Most women believe that men improve with maturity, but they wouldn't be saying that if they bumped into those intergalactic bums of the universe wandering mining vessel Red Dwarf: older but not wiser curry loving, poor guitar skilled, sex-mad Dave Lister (Craig Charles)-not exactly the greatest example of humanity, git Space Core snob hologram Arnold Rimmer (Chris Barrie), egotistically vain clothes couture Cat (Danny John-Jules) and the android domestic servant and all-round ship custodian with the aim to please, Kryten (Robert Llewlellyn), all of whom ineptly leave a trail of wanton calamity, time-line altering, dimension bashing, spacial destruction, and all-round mirth with their continued travels where man has gone so much bravely before. The inimitably hapless gang of lovable idiots are now celebrating their 25th Anniversary on the UK's DAVE HD channel, with an entire weekend devoted to the classic show, created by Rob Grant and Doug Naylor, and lots of classic seasons and episodes for fans to enjoy.

With its recent resurrection success on the UK's DAVE- where it was genuinely nice to have the actors/characters back on our screens after such a long absence- garnering the channels highest ratings and warm critical notices, a further all-new season from Naylor is in the works: one that I personally hope will generate more original belly laughs than pleasing nostalgic smiles next time round! Pray for the once ordered universe: RED DWARF's misadventures will continue...
